Meet Jennifer Burgess

Jennifer Burgess is a short story writer and novelist with a passion for science fiction, horror, and mystery, especially mysteries. Her debut flash fiction piece, “Smart House,” was featured in the Adelaide Literary Magazine’s March 2026 issue. When not writing, Jennifer can be found at home in Clyde, NC with her best friend Mike, two spoiled cats, and a gecko. She is a graduate of Full Sail University's Creative Writing certificate program and will be pursuing her Bachelor in Fine Arts there in August.
